I am Talha Abid, a freelance developer in Lahore who fixes conversion problems on US business sites and funnels, working US hours since 2019. Getting more leads from the traffic you already have usually costs less than buying more traffic. I audit where visitors drop off, fix the forms, speed, layout and copy that lose them, and test the changes so you know what worked. Most small sites have three or four fixes that move the number immediately.

Conversion rate optimization
An audit of where visitors drop out, then the form, checkout, speed and copy fixes that turn more of them into enquiries.

What does Conversion Rate Optimization include?
Conversion rate optimization is the work of finding where visitors give up on a site and fixing those points. I do it for small business websites, landing pages and stores that already get traffic and too few enquiries or orders. You end up with an audit based on your own analytics, a prioritized fix list, the fixes built, and a before and after report.
A good fit if
- Sites and landing pages with steady traffic and too few enquiries
- Businesses paying for ads and unsure where the clicks are lost
- Owners who want evidence before paying for a redesign
Probably not for you if
- New sites with almost no visitors, where traffic has to come first
- You want a guaranteed percentage lift, which nobody can honestly promise
- You will not allow analytics or recording tools on the site

What my landing page audit actually checks
A landing page audit from me follows the visitor's path. I open the ad or search result that sends the traffic, then the page on a mid-range phone. I note what loads first and how long it takes. I check whether the headline matches the ad and whether the action is visible without scrolling. I also look for anything on the page that proves you are a real business.
Then I go to the numbers. In GA4 I look at which pages people land on, where they leave, and how phones compare to desktops. I check that conversions are even being counted, because small sites often track form views as leads or track nothing. The audit ends as a ranked list: the problem, the evidence, the fix and the effort. Each item names the page and the device. Broken tracking always goes at the top.
Heatmaps and recordings before opinions
Heatmaps and recordings show what reports cannot. I install Microsoft Clarity, which is free, or use Hotjar if you already pay for it. Then I let it collect visits before I judge anything. Scroll maps show how far down people get before leaving. Click maps show taps on things that are not links. Recordings show the hesitation: someone opening the form, filling two fields, and closing the tab.
I watch recordings in batches filtered by outcome, first the visitors who converted, then those who reached the form and left. Clarity's rage click and dead click filters speed up the search. Patterns appear quickly. A sticky header covering the submit button on small screens. A pop-up firing mid-form. A price nobody can find. Each pattern becomes a line in the fix list with a clip attached, so you can see the problem yourself.
Form friction fixes and when to A/B test
Form friction is where I find the quickest wins on lead sites. I cut fields you never use, put labels above inputs and set the right mobile keyboards for phone and email. Error messages get rewritten so people know what to correct. Long quote forms become short multi-step ones with the easy question first. On stores I apply the same thinking to the cart and checkout steps.
An A/B test is for changes where the answer is uncertain and the traffic can settle it, such as a new headline or offer. Google Optimize shut down in 2023. I run tests in the split testing built into GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels or Unbounce, or in a dedicated testing tool on other sites. Each test changes one thing. Obvious faults get fixed without a test. A full rebuild belongs to my website redesign service, and a new campaign page to my landing page service.

Conversion Rate Optimization: the questions buyers ask.
How much traffic do I need for CRO?
For A/B testing, a few thousand visits a month. For the audit and fixes, any amount. Most of the value on small sites comes from fixing obvious problems, not from testing.
What access do you need for a CRO audit?
I need view access to GA4, your ad accounts if you run ads, and permission to install Microsoft Clarity or view your Hotjar. For the fixes I need editor access to the site or funnel platform. Everything is granted by email invite, so no passwords change hands, and you can remove me when the project ends.
How soon will I see results from conversion fixes?
It depends on your traffic, and I do not promise a number. Fixes like broken forms, missing mobile buttons or slow pages show in your enquiry count once enough visitors pass through. Smaller changes need more visits before the data is trustworthy. The before and after report uses the same date ranges and conversion definitions, so the comparison is fair.
Do you work on Shopify and WooCommerce checkouts?
Yes. On stores I look at product pages, cart, shipping and payment steps, and the emails that follow an abandoned cart. Hosted checkouts limit what can be changed, so most gains come from what happens before checkout: clear pricing, delivery information, trust signals and fewer surprises. I tell you which fixes your platform and plan allow before quoting.
Is CRO worth doing if I am planning a redesign?
Yes, if the audit comes first. Recordings and analytics from the current site show what visitors use and what they ignore, which should shape the new design. Redesigning blind often carries old problems into a new layout. I can run the audit as a first phase, then quote the redesign with evidence behind it. CRO projects start at $399.
