I am Talha Abid, a freelance developer in Lahore who delivers SEO for US roofing companies with specialists on my team, working US hours since 2019. Roofing searches are local, urgent and expensive to buy with ads. Ranking organically for roof repair and replacement in your service area is the cheapest lead source you will ever have. I build the pages, the Google Business Profile and the review flow that get you there.

What does SEO for Roofers include?
Roofing SEO is monthly work that helps a roofing company show up when homeowners in its service area search for roof repair, replacement or storm damage help. It covers your Google Business Profile, service and city pages, storm damage pages, technical fixes and call tracking. It suits established local roofers who want organic leads alongside referrals and paid ads.
A good fit if
- Local roofers with a real office or yard and completed jobs to show
- Companies in hail or wind markets who want storm pages ready ahead of the season
- Owners willing to send job photos and the city for each finished roof
Probably not for you if
- Storm-chasing crews that move to a new state each season
- Anyone wanting profiles at addresses where no staff work
- Roofers who need a full calendar next week, which is a job for paid ads

Storm damage pages built before the storm
Roofing demand jumps after hail and high wind, and search behavior changes overnight. People type hail damage roof inspection, emergency tarp and roof insurance claim help. A page published the morning after a storm is usually too late to be found that week. So I build storm damage pages in the quiet months. They cover hail, wind, emergency tarping and leak response, each with a free inspection offer. I refresh them each season with recent jobs.
Insurance content needs care. Many states restrict what a contractor may say about negotiating claims or covering deductibles. Your claim help page describes what you do. You inspect, document the damage with photos, give a written estimate and meet the adjuster on the roof. It makes no promise about claim approval. Homeowners still get a clear picture of the process, which is what they were searching for.
Roofing service-area pages with real local detail
Most roofers work across many towns from one yard. Each town you care about gets a service-area page, and each page has to earn its place. I ask for jobs completed there, photos, neighborhoods, common roof types and anything local, such as HOA rules or permit steps. A page that only swaps the city name gives homeowners nothing, so I do not publish those.
Service pages split by intent. Roof repair searchers have a leak and want someone this week. Roof replacement searchers compare materials, warranties and financing over a longer stretch. I build separate pages for repair, replacement, asphalt shingle, metal, and flat or commercial systems if you install them. I own the technical work, the pages and the tracking. Content writing and link building come from specialists on my team, with me as your one contact.
Roofing Google Business Profile done by the rules
For many roofers, calls start from the Google Business Profile before anyone sees the website. I set roofing contractor as the primary category, define the service area and list each service. I load photos of finished roofs with the city in the caption. If customers do not visit your yard, the address stays hidden, which is what Google's guidelines ask of service-area businesses.
Storm markets attract fake listings and virtual offices in every zip code that got hit. I will not build those, because a suspended profile during storm season hurts far more than the listing ever helped. A second profile makes sense only where you have a real staffed office. Review requests go out after each completed job. Every customer gets the same request, happy or not, which is what Google's review policy expects. Each month I report calls from the profile separately from website calls.

SEO for Roofers: the questions buyers ask.
How much does roofing SEO cost?
Single-location roofers in most markets: $349 to $699 a month. Storm-heavy metro markets with multiple cities are quoted after an audit.
Can you build the roofing website too?
Yes. SEO works far better on a site built for it. See the contractor website design page, or ask for a combined quote.
Can roofing SEO bring leads right after a hailstorm?
Only if the groundwork was done before the storm. Pages need time to be crawled and trusted, so hail and wind damage pages should be live months ahead. When a storm hits, I update those pages, post to your Google Business Profile and add a storm banner to the site. For same-week volume in a new area, paid ads are the faster tool.
Should I open a Google Business Profile in every city I roof in?
No. Google allows a profile only where you have a real location that staff work from. Virtual offices and borrowed addresses get profiles suspended. One well-built profile with a properly defined service area, plus strong city pages on your site, is the safe setup. A second profile is worth it when you open a second real office with your own people in it.
Do roof repair and roof replacement need separate pages?
Yes, because they are different customers. A repair searcher has an active leak or missing shingles and wants a fast visit. A replacement searcher weighs materials, warranty, financing and contractor reputation over weeks. One page serves neither well. Separate pages let each answer its own questions and carry the right call to action, a repair visit or a free inspection.
We also do commercial roofing. Does that change the SEO plan?
Yes, commercial needs its own section. Property managers and building owners search by system, such as TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen or metal. They also search by service, such as coatings and maintenance programs, and they want proof of similar buildings. I build commercial pages apart from the residential ones, so each audience sees relevant work, and I track those leads separately.
