I am Talha Abid, a freelance developer in Lahore who runs Google Ads for US businesses with specialists on my team and builds the landing pages to match, working US hours since 2019. Small-business Google Ads budgets often pay for the wrong searches and land on a slow home page. My team runs the campaigns, I build the landing page and the tracking, and you get a weekly note on what changed and what it cost per lead.

What does Google Ads Management include?

Google Ads management is the monthly running of search campaigns that put your business in front of people searching for your service right now. It is for local service businesses and small stores with budget to test. A paid-ads specialist on my team manages the account day to day, and I build the landing page and conversion tracking. You see what each lead cost.

A good fit if

  • Local service businesses whose customers search when they need help now
  • Owners with around $1,000 a month or more in ad budget to test properly
  • Accounts that spend money today with no clear cost per lead

Probably not for you if

  • Budgets well below $1,000 a month, where the data is too thin to optimize
  • Businesses that cannot answer the phone or reply to leads quickly
  • Anyone expecting a guaranteed number of leads or a fixed cost per lead

What does Google Ads Management cost, and what is in the quote?

Projects start at $299 per month plus ad spend. Every item below is included. Nothing becomes an upsell later.

  • Account audit or new account build
  • Keyword, ad group and negative keyword structure
  • Ad copy and extensions
  • Landing page build and conversion tracking
  • Call tracking and CRM integration
  • Weekly optimization and monthly reporting

Conversion tracking comes before the first click

Google's bidding works from the conversions you feed it, so I set those up before any budget is spent. Form submissions fire a conversion through Google Tag Manager. Phone calls are tracked two ways. Calls from the ad itself are counted by Google. Calls from the landing page go through a forwarding number or a tool such as CallRail. Each lead also lands in your CRM with its source attached.

Inherited accounts often count the wrong things. I find page views recorded as conversions, the same form counted twice, or a thank-you page anyone can reload. The numbers look healthy while the phone stays quiet. I strip tracking back to real leads: a submitted form, a call over a set length, a booked appointment. Where your CRM records which leads became jobs, that data can go back to Google Ads as offline conversions.

Negative keywords and structure for local services

Google Ads for local services fails most often on search terms. A plumber bidding on a broad keyword pays for clicks from people looking for plumbing jobs, courses, supplies and do-it-yourself videos. The specialist on my team builds a negative keyword list before launch, covering jobs, free, training, parts and similar intent. They then read the search terms report every week and add to it.

Structure matters as much. Each service gets its own ad group with closely related keywords, so the ad can name the exact service searched. Location targeting is switched from the default, which includes people merely interested in your area, to people actually in it. Search partners and display expansion are turned off on search campaigns unless there is a reason to keep them. Auto-applied recommendations are reviewed and mostly disabled, since they tend to widen spend.

A landing page for Google Ads traffic

Sending paid clicks to a home page wastes them. A landing page for Google Ads repeats the ad's promise in its headline and shows the service area. It carries proof such as reviews and photos of real work. It offers one action: call or fill in a short form. I build it to load fast on mobile, since a person with a burst pipe is searching from a phone. The phone number stays tappable at the top.

You pay the ad budget directly to Google on your own card, in an account you own. The management fee is separate and starts at $299 per month. In the first month you provide account access, your service list, your service area and any past campaign history. Expect the first few weeks to be data gathering. Choose this over Meta ads when people already search for what you sell. Meta suits offers people need to see before they want them.

Google Ads Management: the questions buyers ask.

What is the minimum ad budget?

Around $1,000 a month in most local markets. Below that, the data is too thin to optimize and I will usually recommend SEO or a better website first.

Who runs the campaigns?

A paid-ads specialist on my team runs the account day to day. I own the landing page, tracking and CRM side, and I am your single point of contact.

Is the ad spend included in your management fee?

No. The management fee starts at $299 per month and pays for the work: campaigns, landing page and tracking. Ad spend is separate and billed by Google straight to your card. You own the ad account and can see every dollar spent. If we stop working together, the account, its history and its data stay with you.

How soon will Google Ads bring leads?

Ads usually start showing within a day or two of launch, once Google approves them. Steady lead flow takes longer. The first weeks go into learning which search terms and ads produce real inquiries and cutting the ones that do not. I make no promise on lead volume or cost per lead, since both depend on your market, your offer and your budget.

Can you take over an existing Google Ads account?

Yes, and it is usually better than starting fresh, since the account history shows what has already been tried. We audit conversion tracking first, then search terms, location settings, match types and ad copy. You get a short written list of what is wasting money and what we will change. You grant access from your own account, so ownership never leaves you.

Should I run Google Ads or invest in SEO?

Run ads if you need inquiries soon and have budget to test. Choose SEO if you can wait for a lower-cost source of leads. Ads stop the day you stop paying, while SEO builds slowly and keeps working. Many local businesses start with ads for cash flow. They add SEO once tracking shows which services are worth ranking for.
