How Much Does a GoHighLevel Expert Cost in 2026?

A GoHighLevel expert costs $25 to $150 an hour in 2026, or $497 to $1,500 fixed for a single-business setup from me. Agencies charge $1,500 to $5,000 a month.

A GoHighLevel expert costs $497 to $1,500 with me for a one-business setup, quoted as a fixed price before work starts. On the open market, freelancers charge $25 to $150 an hour depending on experience, agencies sell retainers from about $1,500 a month, and offshore specialists go as low as $10 an hour. The GoHighLevel subscription, $97 to $497 a month, is always on top.

I have done 65+ GoHighLevel builds, most of my work since 2022 and most of it for US local businesses and the agencies that serve them, and the ones with a live link or capture are on my work page. Below are the market ranges I could check in October 2026, my own price ladder, and the reasons a quote moves.

Key takeaways

  • A single-business setup from me runs $497 to $1,500 fixed, half paid up front, with 30 days of fixes included.
  • Market hourly rates run $25 to $150. The GoHighLevel job posts I read on Upwork in October 2026 mostly offered $10 to $30 an hour, and the lowest bids usually mean an account built inside someone else's agency plan.
  • Agencies charge $1,500 to $5,000 a month on retainer. That pays for a team and an account manager, which one business with one sales process rarely needs.
  • The subscription, phone and email usage, and A2P 10DLC registration sit outside every setup quote. Budget for them separately.
  • Ask for a fixed price with a written scope. An hourly estimate from a slow builder costs more than a fixed quote from a fast one.

What a GoHighLevel setup quote covers

When I quote a setup for one business, the price covers a pipeline that matches how a lead becomes a customer in your business, calendars with reminders, a funnel or a website, a phone number and an email sending domain, the core workflows (new lead reply, missed-call text-back, appointment reminders, review requests), the A2P 10DLC filing so US carriers deliver your texts, and a recorded walkthrough at the end.

It does not cover the subscription, the per-use phone and email charges, ad spend, copy beyond the pages we agree, or running the account after launch. Any quote you compare should say which of those it includes, because the cheap ones often leave three of them out and bill for them later.

For pest control, roofing, HVAC, dental, real estate and coaching businesses, the industry pages list what the build usually includes.

GoHighLevel expert rates in 2026

I could not find an independent survey of GoHighLevel rates. The published figures come from companies that sell GoHighLevel work, and the Upwork numbers are what clients offer in job posts, which is lower than what experienced builders accept. Read the table with that in mind.

Who you hire What they charge Where the figure comes from
Experienced freelancer, hourly $25 to $75 an hour GHL Scale Up, an agency guide
Top specialist with 5+ years, hourly $75 to $150 an hour Same GHL Scale Up guide
Freelancer, one funnel at a fixed price $500 to $3,000 Ad Snipper, "Hire a GoHighLevel Expert: Duties and Rates (2026)"
Client budgets in the Upwork job posts I read, October 2026 $10 to $30 an hour GoHighLevel listings on Upwork, a small sample read by hand
Agency or certified partner on retainer $1,500 to $5,000 a month Ad Snipper
Dedicated offshore specialist $10 to $15 an hour, about $1,600 to $2,400 a month full time Ad Snipper
GoHighLevel virtual assistant $600 to $1,800 a month Ad Snipper
In-house hire in the US or UK $5,000 to $8,000 a month and up, with employment costs Ad Snipper

Three things change how those numbers feel in practice. An hourly rate hides the total: a builder at $30 an hour who takes 40 hours costs more than one at $75 who takes 12. The cheapest hourly bids are often for an account created on the freelancer's own agency plan, which means you do not own it and cannot leave without a rebuild. And HighLevel's certified partner badge costs the partner $97 a month, as listed on HighLevel's pricing page; it proves platform knowledge, and says nothing about whether the person has built for your industry.

My GoHighLevel prices

These are the same prices as on my GoHighLevel expert page. Every one is fixed before work starts.

What you need My price
One business: pipeline, one funnel or site, calendar, core workflows, A2P filing from $497 fixed
Several funnels, multiple calendars, custom reporting, or an agency snapshot up to $1,500 fixed
Workflow and automation builds on an account you already have from $397
Custom code, integrations and API work from $297
Small fixes and tweaks after launch $50 an hour
Care plan with monthly changes and checks from $149 a month

New clients pay half up front and half on delivery. One business with one funnel takes five to ten working days, and A2P approval runs in the background from day one. The account is created under your email, with me added as a user, so nothing depends on me after the handover.

What moves a quote up or down

  • The number of funnels and pages. Each page is design, copy placement, a form, and a test on a phone.
  • A migration from another CRM or a spreadsheet. Exporting contacts with their tags and stages, cleaning the list, and importing it against a pipeline that matches the old one is a day of careful work on its own.
  • Integrations. Stripe, Google Sheets, Slack, Klaviyo, Shopify, n8n, Make and Zapier each need a build and a test, and a webhook that fails silently costs more than one that was never set up.
  • Agency snapshots, SaaS mode and white-label setups, where the build has to be cloned cleanly into sub-accounts and the per-client steps written down.
  • Who supplies the copy and the photos. Pages wait on content more often than on code.
  • Custom code: calculators, marketplace apps, anything the builder cannot do on its own. That is GoHighLevel developer work and priced separately.
  • The state of an inherited account. Untangling three half-built workflows takes longer than starting from a blank sub-account.

Hourly or fixed price?

Take a fixed price for a defined build and pay hourly for the small things afterwards. A fixed quote puts the risk of slow work on the builder; an hourly estimate puts it on you. The one place I prefer hourly is maintenance: a list of small changes each month at $50 an hour, or a care plan if the list is predictable.

If someone will only quote hourly, ask for a cap and a written list of deliverables. If they will not give either, the estimate is a guess and so is your final bill.

The costs outside the quote

The subscription is the one everyone remembers: on 30 October 2026 HighLevel’s pricing page listed Starter at $97 a month with three sub-accounts, Unlimited at $297 with unlimited sub-accounts, and Founder at $497, which adds rebilling with a markup and SaaS mode. My GoHighLevel pricing guide goes through what each plan includes and the usage billing for calls, texts and emails that comes on top. A2P 10DLC registration carries small carrier fees of its own, and HighLevel's AI features for conversations and calls are add-ons billed per sub-account.

Smaller items add up too: a domain, a paid template if you want one, a transactional email service if you send a lot, and your own time in the walkthrough. If you have not signed up yet, you can start the free trial through my link and I will walk you through the setup; HighLevel pays me a referral commission and you pay the same price.

What a cheap setup costs later

Most accounts I inherit share the same gaps. Texts fail silently because the A2P registration was never finished. Emails land in spam because no sending domain was set up. Workflows run half built, so a lead gets the first text and never the follow-up. And the account sits on the previous freelancer's agency plan, so the owner cannot leave without rebuilding everything.

Fixing that costs more than the original build would have, because every workflow has to be read before it can be trusted. Spending $200 less on a setup that leaves two of those gaps open is the expensive option.

How to get an accurate quote

Send me how a lead becomes a customer in your business today, what you sell and at what price points, links to the current site, funnel or CRM, the tools that need connecting, your deadline, and a budget range if you have one. I reply within one business day with a fixed price, a timeline and a list of what is included. Use the contact form, or read how to hire a GoHighLevel expert first for the questions to ask any builder, including me.

Frequently asked questions

Is a GoHighLevel expert worth it for a one-person business?

If you book appointments or send quotes, usually yes. In the accounts I have built, the missed-call text-back and the appointment reminders are the automations owners point to first when they say the setup paid for itself; that is their report, not a guarantee. You also learn the platform from a working account instead of a blank one. If you only need an email list, the Starter plan plus an afternoon of your own time is enough.

Can I pay a GoHighLevel expert hourly instead of a fixed price?

You can, and it suits maintenance and small changes. For a build, ask for a fixed price with a written scope. If the builder will only work hourly, ask for a cap and a deliverables list so the estimate means something.

Does the price include the GoHighLevel subscription?

No. The subscription is paid to HighLevel under your own account, and the usage for calls, texts and email is billed on top. A setup quote covers the building, the configuration and the handover.

How much does a GoHighLevel snapshot cost for an agency?

A snapshot for one niche, with its pipeline, calendars, forms, funnel and workflows, sits at the top of my $497 to $1,500 range. Multi-niche snapshots and SaaS-mode setups are quoted separately after I have seen the agency account. The freelancer or agency guide covers when a white-label freelancer is the better buy for an agency.

What does ongoing GoHighLevel management cost?

With me, a care plan starts at $149 a month and small changes run $50 an hour. A dedicated virtual assistant is $600 to $1,800 a month according to the Ad Snipper guide above, and agency retainers start around $1,500. Most single businesses need a few hours a month after launch, which is care-plan territory.
